Penny, a native of Lydd, became interested in moths through Barry and started running a 
                    Heath Trap in 1989,  graduating to an MV in 1992. Coverage over the years has varied and
                    though she is presently not based in Kent she still runs the trap-site when she can. To the 
                    end of 2002 her total of macros stands at 192. It was as a ten year old in 1990 that she 
                    caught a moth that was eventually identified and named as Lydd Beauty, a species  new to 
                    Britain.
