      First area record at Lydd 9th August 1953 (GF.Johnstone). Then at Long Pits on 16th August 1974 
      (W.Coster) and 18th August 1978 (EH.Wild). 4 taken 5th-6th August (B.Skinner et al), and 16 taken
      13th-26th August 1979 (TW.Harman et al) and larvae found 8th-29th September (per B.Skinner). Lydd-
      on-sea 28th May 1985 (I.Woiwod).
      1990: Long Pits 2nd August (G.Senior).  1991: Dungeness 12th,15th August.
      1992:. Rspb 22nd May (PG.Akers). Dungeness 30th July with 2 on 31st. Dungeness 6th August.
      1993: Dungeness 6th August. 1994: Dungeness 30th July. 
      1996: Rspb 5th June (PG.Akers). Dungeness 7th August. 1997: New Romney 5th August.
      1998: Greatstone 31st July. 1999: 3 taken in August (G.Senior).
      2002: Greatstone 4th, New Romney 6th August.
      2005: Lydd 30th July, Dungeness 5th, Lydd 10th August.
      2007: Greatstone 28th April, Lydd 19th, Greatstone 26th July.
      2008: Lydd 27th April. Rspb 23rd,  Greatstone 28th, Greatstone 29th, 30th July, 6 moths, 2 on 30th.
      Greatstone 1st August.
      2009: Dungeness and Greatstone 25th, Lydd (2) 28th July. 




     Most of the dates in recent years suggest immigrants and it is not known whether it still breeds.
