Recorded every year mostly from Dungeness. It becomes scarcer the further inland with only a few records
from New Romney and Littlestone. The 48th most commonly occurring moth in the area. Data from DW
shows an increasing trend in the numbers recorded. Double brooded, May and June, few July dates and
peak in August and into September.
Earliest date. 17th April (07). Latest date. 22nd October (05). Max. 75 at Dungeness in September
